Hi,I am Dr. Amitkumar Sharma (Internal Medicine Specialist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have an allergy to the glue on the EKG tabs. Because I have a heart condition I have to have frequent EKG tests. The EKG tabs leave a dark red mark on my skin, sometimes I blister from them if they are left on too long. I have asked my primary care doctor about this and he has no answer for me. Who or where can I get help on this issue? Thank you very much for any help you can give me.
You can apply lotion or patch of Pediaderm TA. It will decrease inflammation. Allergies are related to the immune system. Eat lots of fruits, especially oranges, lemon, aloe vera, amla and basil in food. Do pranayama, it increases immunity [art of living ombw is good]. Drink 7-8 glasses of clean water. Take Nestabs tab for a few days.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Sunny Madar, General & Family Physician
