I have a child with undiagnosed allergies (can t get an appointment for 6 weeks!) had terrible exzyma on arms, legs and chest bright red rough rash all over face and eyes that swelled almost closed. We were dosing with Benadryl to treat, but have been advised by Dr. to use Reactine instead...symptoms have improved, but after two days on the new medication he has very deep red rings around his eyes that aren t going away...thought this was part of healing, but worried it could be an adverse reaction to the new medication...can someone please advise if I should be concerned?
