Suggest Stronger Pain Reliever Than Oxycodone For A Cancer Patient

MY HUSBAND IS IN GREAT PAIN WITH TERMINAL CANCER..BEING THE CAREGIVER FOR 1 1/2 YRS. HIS PAIN DOES NOT SUFSIDE WITH HIS OXYCODONE(20mg) & HYDROCODONE(5/325mg FOR BREAK THROUGH PAIN. IS THERE A STRONGER OXOCODONE? I HAVE TRIED TO HONOR HIS WISHES TO NOT CALL HOSPICE YET..HOWEVER,THEY HAD TO REMOVE HIS LEG WHICH FURTHER COMPLICATES CARING FOR HIM. I AM AT THE BREAKING POINT AS I STILL WORK A PART TIME JOB & HAVE NO HELP COMING IN AS WE FALL THRU THE CRACKS TO SPEAK & SO NOT QUALIFY FOR HELP!

I really appreciate your concern, if this is the terminal stage of malignancy then such sever pain is very likely and potent narcotic can only be used for this, hope this information helps.
