Suggest Suitable Diet Plan And Exercise To Reduce Tummy
my fasting sugar is 129 ; pp sugar is 204 ; and A1C is 8.9 . i hv big tummy becoz of my bad habits etc. But I have started doing excercise and strict diet control. all direct sugar stopped. oat meal , salads, aloe vera , etc started. eating small meals 5 times a day. do i need to take metformin etc...
With an A1C that high, it is generally recommended you get started on medication such as metformin, while continuing a good diet and weight loss plan. If you haven't, see a dietitian and get specific information about the types of food you should be eating, and also get training on how to manage diabetes. If you lose the weight and maintain a healthy lifestyle, you could eventually get off the medicine. But in the meantime the high sugar levels are causing damage to your body and you should get them under control quickly. This would be by medicine in addition to diet and exercise. There are no specific exercises to reduce your tummy, but the type of fat that tends to collect in the abdomen increases your risk of diabetes and heart conditions, so it is very important to change your eating habits so your weight is controlled. Hope this helps.
