Suggest Tests To Diagnose Internal Injuries In The Stomach

I was on a hammock and one side gave way and I fell straight down and everything from my head to my butt hit all at once and hard on the concrete. I was dizzy for a few minutes after and shortly after that I started feeling pain in my stomach too. Is the pain in my stomach normal to my fall or is it an indicator for something more serious? (The fall happened about 2hours ago)

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

You can go for a CECT scan of the abdomen to look for any internal injuries or bleeding. An ultrasound may also be taken as an initial assessment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
