Suggest Tests To Diagnose Worms In The Stool
good afternoon Dr. Rynne, my husband has had gastro intestinal problems for a few days and had a bowel movement a few minutes ago and says he thinks he may have founf worms in his stool. hed like to know if we humans gets worms and if so whats the proper procedure for a home remedy?

Worms or its eggs in stools can be diagnosed by a simple stool microscopic examination.
If it is found, its nature can also be known by the characteristics and its physical appearance.
It can be treated by administration of medication like Albendazole as a single dose or in two doses a week apart, depending on the microscopic findings.
Kindly consult Physician with the stool microscopy report for appropriate management.
