I have developed thickened skin patches over two of the knuckles on one of my hands. They are pink but the surface looks white. Also, I have a dark spot that developed on the side of my wrist. Sometimes it fades - again almost white looking - but then gets dark (brownish) again. Can you tell me what this might be?
Hello, Welcome to healthecare magic. From your description, the possibilities I can think of are psoriasis, pityriasis rubra pilaris and eczema. You could google for images and see what matches with the skin lesions that you are having. All these problems are chronic in nature. Hence you need to consult a dermatologist for treatment and followup. Hope this helps you. Take care.
