Suggest The Generic Form Of OxyContin

I was told that there is not generic form of OxyContin, is that true? I m a pain management client who has been prescribed OxyContin 20mg twice a day, a few months ago my pharmacy told me that the oxycodone er 20mg that was being filled as a generic was not the same. After that my rx was filled with brand name OxyContin, however this month the bottle again says oxycodone er. Since starting the new bottle a few days ago my pain levels are higher than normal, I need answers please.

Oxycodone is the generic name for OxyContin.

Oxycodone and OxyContin are same in active content.
