Suggest The Ideal Dosage For Macox-Zh And Livolin Forte
Sir, my wife is under treatment of TB(tuberculosis). The doctor have advised to us to take medicine macox- dz( 2 tabletes with fasting for 2 months, after 2 months 1 tablets with fasting for 4 months) and LIvoliv forte( 2 tablets for 2 months) and cardio plus 1 tablet for 1 month. I know about these medicine is suitable for eradicate of TB bacteria. But 3 days course she have a cough problem. what should be done.
It looks like you are taking the correct regimen for eradication of TB. Cough that is seen along with TB is usually seen because of the irritation to the throat. There are several ways to help with cough.
Here are a few things to try.
Using warm salt water gargles more than 5 times a day to help reduce the irritation.
If this does not help, many people find using Betadine gargles useful. Over the counter anti-cough medication will help as well. Please see your local chemist or pharmacist for this.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Vignan Rachabattuni, General & Family Physician
