Suggest The Ideal Dosage For Tramadol Taken For Hip Pain
I ve been taking 50mg tramadol for 26 days for hip pain and yesterday had a flouro guided injection which has taken care of the pain. I stopped taking the tramadol yesterday and after 12 hours started to experience withdrawal issues which continue today. I have more of the 50mg tablets and can I cut them in half in order to lessen the withdrawal symptoms or should I have my doctor prescribe a lesser dose and gradually lessen the dose in the coming weeks. I wasn t prepared for the severity of the withdrawal as my pharmacy literature was pretty generic.

hi...for hip pain tramadol is taken 50 or 100 mg 6 hourly in a day depending upon chronicity and intensity of pain.
you are taking 50 mg is ideal dose.
now you want to stop it..plzz take care tramadol is narcotic pain killer..so sudden stop taking is avoded ..as it causing withdrawal symptoms..
doses must be tappered infew weeks to few months to avoid it..
for that reduction must under doctors observation..
