Hi doctor, here I'm in a bad situation - I got a genital wart in my penis, just below the penis top. I consulted doctor and he advised me for hiv1,2 and s-vdrl testing. I have all 3 and all came out as "non-reactive" in result. Now, doctor suggested "podowart" for the warts and he applied it on my penis first time and told me to do same way after a week. He told me it will be cured no problem - till now I have no problem.

However, I have a wife and I'm having regular sex with her. When I first time noticed the wart, I ignored it and continued sex with my wife. After 1 month when noticed it getting bigger, I gone to the doctor and the later described above. He told me to discontinue sex with my wife until the wart get cleared.

Now, I have questions - after the wart getting cleared, can I start sex with my wife as usual ? Please note, I was doing sex with my wart in penis with my wife for a whole month and I'm afraid she can get my diseases as this is a STD. Till now there is no sign of wart in her body or genital area and after consulting with doctor I currently not doing sex with her. But, what is the perfect time to start regular sex with her ? In short, how can I know that the diseases complete gone and I can start regular sex with her.
