Suggest The Right Time To Start Solid Foods For My 44-month-old Baby
Hi My baby is 4 months 11 days old. From around 3 days she is demanding more milk and I feel like my breast milk is not sufficient for her. She is very active and plays a lot. So I want to start with some solid foods. But I am confused whether I can start now or not. We are planning to start with nestum this week. I am very much worried about her weight. Now she is 4.75 kg. At birth she was 2.7 kg. She also looks thin. Every one says baby is weak. But her activities are very good. Please help me to come out of confusion. I want to give my baby the best.
She might be looking thin as she is breastfeeding only. If she gets full, then no worry. To me can add nestum only once a day. Plus start fruit juice freshly prepared. Do not worry, your baby is already taking the best as long as she is playing a lot, and not getting ill easily although looking thin.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
