Suggest The Type Of Surgery To Be Performed For MRSA Spinal Infection

I had 2 surgeries for spine infections. I recall the word mersa in the name. What type of surgery did the do to fix my problem. They removed rotten bone. But I need the name of the surgery. Can you help? br

You were most probably operated for osteomyelitis of the spinal bone caused by methicillin resistant staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) bacterial.

Removal of necrotic (dead ) bone through surgery is called osteotomy.
