Suggest Treating For Stinging Feeling And Red Bumps On Clitoris

I was using the bathroom and noticed a stinging feeling when I wiped and noticed that there are tiny little red pimple like bumps on the tip of my clitoris. And I think I got it today, because it wasn t there yesterday. I don t know what it could be? Or is it something that can become serious?

Hello,

You are suffering from stinging feeling & red bumps on the clitoris. If you are sexually active, sensitivity from sexual arousal or stimulation may trigger itching. Persistent itching that arises outside of sexual activity or does not go away is indicative of an infection or some health condition. Certain materials of the underwear may cause itching, scratchy fabric. People allergic to latex, lubes, douching, scented products may also experience such symptoms.

Take care of your hygiene, take bath regularly. Change clothes regularly, wash your clothes in hot water. Always wear cotton clothes, avoid multiple partners if sexually active. Other medical conditions that can cause similar symptoms are thrush and bacterial vaginitis. Persistent genital arousal disorder (PGAD) and STI (warts due to HPV or herpes) also causes stinging and itching. Get clinically examined by an OBGYN, get treated.

Be careful of ingrown hairs, stop using hair removal products that are causing bumps and infection. Taking cool compress and sitz bath may be helpful. You can apply Clotrimazole ointment on the affected area or take antihistamine for relieve. Get STD tests done to stay on the safer side. If it is positive you will need a course of antivirals and antibiotics. Stay away from addictions if any.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
