Suggest Treatmemnt For Calf And Thigh Pain When Suffering From Osteoarthritis

Hi, I have been diagnosed with osteoarthritis in my right hip and left knee. My legs are throbbing all the time, and the pain is excruciating. When I just touch my calves on the side, they hurt. Most nights the pain keeps me awake and I need a pillow between my legs to take off the pressure. I am also a heart patient....with stents (2). Going for a blood test next week too. The pain is very hard to handle most times and do not know what that could be.

Hi
For osteoarthritis of hip and knee you should get x ray done and start proper conservative treatement according to stage of arthritis.
For conservative treatement should take mild analgesics start short wave diathermy and avoid sitting on floor avoid squitting position and avoid weight lifting.
The above conservative treatement will stop the progression.
And then if you still have pain can take local hydrocortisone injection.
Get well soon.
Thank you.
