Suggest Treatment After Being Scratched By A Pet Dog

I got bit by my 2 year old blue nose pit bull after inwas feeding him ... on my thumb.. It s like a stratch then a little cut at the end and has turned white a little at the end after sleeping with a bandage on it .. I put peroxide and neoaporin on it and it happened yesterday at 7:00

Hello,

Very likely all you need to do is wash the wound with water and soap and then keep it dry and clean. You can put the neosporine cream but I would not recommend use of peroxide as it might damage the healing tissues making it take longer to heal.
If you notice any swelling or redness then you will need to see your doctor.
If you have not had a tetanus vaccine in the last 10 years you might need to talk with your doctor to have one as soon as possible.
