Suggest Treatment And Precaution For The Following Blood Test Report

Female, 29. Blood test report showed that I have mild anisocytosis and hypochromia [haemoglobin 119 g/l 115-165] [MCH 26pg 27-32] [RDW 15.1% 11-15]. Mild thrombocytosis 401 150 - 400]. White blood cells appear normal. Taking cetirizin to treat skin allergies due to polluted air and water. Have been treated for mild rosacea and second stage candida fungus at armpits recently. Are these skin conditions related to high white blood cells? What kind of precaution or treatment should I aware of for this blood test? Any supplements that I can intake?

Hi,

Yes, any infection in general can cause increase in the white cell count. Normal white cell count is in the range of 8000 to 11000. Higher levels are considered abnormal. Following treatment of infections, the cell count will return back to normal levels. Erythrocyte sedimentation rate can be taken to confirm the presence of any chronic infections.
