Suggest Treatment Constipation, weight Gain And Fatigue.

I think i may have a thyroid problem, i feel out of sink. as if chemically unbalanced. Recently I have developed constipation, weight gain and abnormal fatigue, I also have a strong family history of thyroid disease. Is it worth me having me having a TR3 test, i hate to waste peoples time?

hi.
thank you for posting query at HCM.

yes, a positive family history along with your current symptoms point towards thyroid disease.

Your advised to have thyroid profile test ( TSH, T3 and T4) which would give a picture of thyroid hormones and further course of action maybe advised.

after getting the results, you may post the results and queries at "Ask a Specialist" forum at HCM or in person to me.

wish you good health.
regards,
Dr Tayyab Malik
