Child (4 years) suffering in advance stage of non- hodgkin Burkittts from biopsy test.Symptoms: severe sweating often, fever often, head ache severe sometimes, tired & fatigue ...in course of daily activities. 1. Burkitt's Lymphoma/Non-Hodgkins :as history suggests advance stage, thus probably lymphoma has metastasized.
2. apart from biopsy [lymph node/bone marrow]: blood and urine tests,CT-scan, X-ray chest, lumbar puncture [to evaluate central nervous system disease for cancer cells]
3. treatment ranges between 35000-60000, depending upon the stage involved, hospital, consult with a pediatric Oncologist for the same.
4. steps in treatment involves:
. child's age, overall health and medical history.
. the extent of the disease
. child's tolerance for certain medications, procedures or therapies.
. Prognosis
5. duration of treatment will depend upon:
.presence or absence of metastasis.
.response to therapy.
