my wife has been suffering from diabetics since 1995 and she has been suffering from kidney problem since january 2011. now she is under a nephrologist.presently her cretinine is 3.2. blood pressure 80/120. hemoglobin lebel 10.20. what can i do now .

Hi,

Have regular followup with your doctor. Do salt restriction and keep checking her creatinine levels once every 15 days. Her sugar should be well controlled. Also her drugs should be reconsidered for control of sugar and also for protecting kidney functions. So if you can upload the drugs she is consuming we can discuss better.

If hemoglobin further reduces SC Erythropoietin inj will help in increasing Hb level. Dialysis should be considered when creatinine level increases to about 5.and with complications like nausea, vomit, itching skin and hear failure. Otherwise no need to worry.
