Suggest Treatment & Diet For Lennox Gastaut Syndrome
my son ratul sarkar,14years,wt.67kg,is suffering from lenox gastaut syndrome,undergone corpus callosotomy in 2001,but has not helped.he is now having topamac 125mg-0-125mg,zonisep 75mg-0-75mg,nitravet 5mg-0-5mg,benadon 0-0-40mg.ketogenic diet has been suggested.requesting advice regarding the effectiveness of the diet in our case,as ratul is suffering from acute seizures.& whether any expert help is avilable in kolkata

seizures in Lenoux Gastaut are difficult to control and often require miltiple drugs.If valptoate and levetiracrtam are not tried then u can try it.
Ketogenic diet give good control in about 40% cases.It will be wort trying it.
