Suggest Treatment For 14th And 15th Spinal Stenosis

I have been diagnosed with l4 and l5 spinal stenois. I am searching for recommendations of whether to have a laser or standard operation. My doctor wants to do a standard operation, but the problems with recovery time concern me greatly. I am 72 years old and really hurt. Thanks, Walt YYYY@YYYY
