hello
welcome to HCM
i have read your question and can understand your concerns.
what is your age
are you diabetic
are you on steroids or any other immunosuppresant therapy
is there any discharge coming out of these lumps.
if i were your treating physician i would have looked at the lumps and determined their mobility beneath the skin ie inflamed lipoma.i would have done skin pinch to rule out inflamed sebaceous cysts, fluctuation test to rule out any abscess.another possibility is
pilonidal sinus or abscess whic occurs in the cleft of the buttocks and branching may occur.
for inflammed lipoma and boils i would have prescribed oral anti inflammatory drugs such as ibuprofen or
diclofenac 50 mg, an anti biotic such as combination of
ampicillin and flucloxicillin which are active against
staphylococcus which is usually the culprit bug.
abscess need
incision and drainage.sebaceous cyst needs surgical excision and pilonidal sinus or abscess will also need excision by karydakis procedure.
thanks
hope the answer is helpful
keep using HCM.
