Hi,

Ayurveda may be a viable alternative for treating coronary heart disease, including cases of artery blockage. However, it is important to note that Ayurvedic treatments should not be used as a substitute for medical advice and intervention.

If you are considering Ayurvedic treatment for your condition, it is important to consult with a qualified Ayurvedic practitioner who can develop a personalized treatment plan based on your individual needs and medical history. Ayurvedic treatment goals for heart disease are to eliminate impurities, reduce symptoms, increase disease resistance, reduce worry, and increase harmony in life.

Some Ayurvedic treatments that may be recommended for coronary artery blockage include diet and lifestyle modifications, meditation, breathing exercises, yoga, and various herbal remedies. However, it is important to note that the effectiveness of these treatments has not been extensively studied in clinical trials, and their safety and efficacy have not been evaluated by regulatory agencies.

Given the severity of your condition, it is important to work closely with your healthcare provider to determine the best course of treatment for you. While Ayurveda may be a viable option for some patients, in your case, it may be more appropriate to undergo bypass surgery as recommended by your healthcare provider.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Priyanka, General & Family Physician
