Suggest Treatment For ACL Injury

Hi Doctor, Hope you are doing fine :). In the year of 2012, While playing cricket my right leg Ligament called ACL got teared. I had undergone Surgery in Hyderabad, India with Dr.Bujji Babu, Remedy Hospital in the same year 2012. But unfortunately he has not done proper surgery and still am suffering while playing sports. Some other Doctors are saying that need to go for Surgery again. Could you please suggest me what to do now ? Thanks and Regards, Deepak

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

That depends on the severity of your symptoms and the clinical findings. If it only very strenuous exercise and on rare occasions you experience discomfort, physical therapy should do the trick.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Anders Mark Christensen, General Surgeon
