Suggest Treatment For ADHD, Bipolar Disorder And Insomnia For A 30-year-old
I am a 30 year old male with ADHD and Bipolar Disorder with acute insomnia. I am taking Fluphinazine10mg and Oxcarbazepine 300mg. It is not working for me at all. I am very aggressive and cannot sleep at all. Is there a better combination for me without drastic side effects? Help please!! Shawn.
I've gone through your query. I can understand your anxiety.
As your current medications are not relieving your symptoms, you can switch to tricyclic antidepressants along with mood stabilisers with your doctor reference. Also I advice you to, - Have brisk walk in the evening - reading in bed - Hot bath & massage before going to bed
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Get well soon.
Regards, Dr. Yogapriya V, General and family physician.
