Hi,

I do understand your pain and discomfort. As per your history please follow my advise below:

Please check whether these investigations has been carried out or not, if already done then no need to repeat once.

1) Do a blood test [Liver function test, renal function test , Thyroid function tests]

2) Do [N-Terminal pro-B-Type natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP)

3) Chest X-ray

4) ECG and ECHO and Stress test

5) Coronary angiogram. Treatment depends upon causes responsible for heart failure

So let me know in details about it usually we treat cases both medicines as well as surgical methods like:

- (Medications)
- [ACE inhibitors, angiotensin II receptor blocker, beta blocker, diuretics, aldosterone antagonist, inotropes, digoxin (surgical methods)
- [coronary bypass surgury, heart valve repair or replacement, implantable cardioverter
- defibrillators (ICDS), cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT) or biventrocular pacing, and finally heart pumps.

I hope I was able to address your query. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to write to me. Wishing you all the best.

Thanks,
Dr. Uday Nath Sahoo
