Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My cousin is in his 50 s and shows signs of Ausbergers syndrome...especially in family social situations. I need a print out of symptoms and possible remedies for the family to read about this. He has 2 small children that are learning inappropriate social behavior because he thinks it is ok....for instance, he let his 3 yr old daughter run in the kitchen of a nice restaurant at the beach in Oregon, and he just laughed. The rest of the family was mortified and told him (and the child) not to allow it but he told her it was ok. He is inappropriate in what he expects and allows his children to do....and himself for that matter. Many more things..Im in Florida but going to Oregon in 1 week for 2 months. Thanks. Sorry. I didn t realize that I have to pay for this service. Darn! How much?
Behavioral therapy will be the treatment of choice sometimes treatment for very long period may be needed. Keep in mind that the condition can not be cured completely. Consult a neuro-psychologist and he will direct you accordingly.
