Suggest Treatment For Bi-polar Syndrome

hi my mother has bipolar she has been in and out of a mental hospital and the only time I see her well or coping is when she is in there when she does come out shes fine for a few days and then bam shes down again shes taking all her medication she has a nurse who signs it off every day so my question is why is she well in there on medication but not well in society on medication and I also want to know if people tend to play on this illness
