Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been through a very stressful filled year. I also have COPD. In March I had an exacerbation that put me in the hospital for 11 days. I had 2 strains of the flu, bronchitis and pneumonia all at the same time. I did not go into the hostile using oxygen but when I left I was. I am on oxygen now with the hopes of getting off of it soon. I still feel most days as though I have underlying flu symptoms. Lately my hair has been falling out excessively but my nails continue to grow so I am just wondering if I should be concerned. Is it possible that I would have these symptoms so long after being sick?
