Cardiologist 's  Response
Hello and welcome to 'Ask a Doctor' service.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice. Chances of survival depends upon the stage of cancer and type of cancer. In general the survival is up to 6 months. He should visit oncologist as early as possible. If it's early stage then surgery can be done or if late then chemotherapy can be tried.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Sagar Makode
