Hi. I am currently in hospital. I have excarbation of COPD. Also Polysistic Kidneys. I have been coughing profusely and am sxperiencing pulsating pains...really bad travelling up my spine. Extrememly painful. Have Sponiolitis in top of spine. Age 63. Curious about this spinal pain. No money here to pay for answer
hi and pleased to answer you In a recent study, more than 59 % of patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) endorsed in the study, had chronic pain than patients with other chronic disease. The patients with COPD also had evidence of greater use of pain medications than other conditions. Patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease are at high risk for persistent pain, and often have multiple sources of pain, including neuropathic, muscle, inflammatory, and mechanical or compressive. Diseases affecting patients with COPD are Alzheimer's disease, atrial fibrillation, cancers, chronic kidney disease, diabetes, heart failure, ischemic heart disease, stroke, transient ischemic attack, and osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis. I think your spin pain is due to osteoarthritis, for that I invite you to consult an internal medicine doctor. now you can use pain killer until that moment felden 20 mg once dailly. best wishes
