Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
my boyfriend is 58, has a pacemaker, newly diagnosed COPD, takes BP medicine. We live in AZ so it is hot here. He states he is feeling like he is not there like he is almost having an out of body feeling that comes and goes making it hard for him to focus. Could this just be dehydration? He is in a climate controlled office and not outside during the day.
First of all I need to know what medicine he is taking for Hypertension and COPD as these might be due to medicines he is taking as it's an hot environment and some of anti hypertensive treatment causes excessive diuresis as well.
You need to see a doctor for his proper checkup and his treatment optimization.
I hope I have answered your query.
