Suggest Treatment For CSR In Retina

My eye deices is CSR in retina. My Doctor told me that the only option of your eye is to inject STEM CELL in your eyes. I am very depress about my eye. The present position of my eye is that i cannot see the proper image. This is present in my both eye. Please guide me about my case how i get my vision.

Well if your doctor has mention stem cell transplant, i suppose you have burnt out disease or all other treatment has been tried.

Chronic CSR causes RPE cell damage which do not regrow. If its affecting large area of your macula(area of retina for maximum central vision). Then you might need stem cell transplant as last hopeful option.

But CSR close to macula but not over it can be treated with lasers. Even CSR complication like CMV can be treated either surgically or intravitreal drugs.

I hope all these modalities were considered for you, if they haven't there is nothing wrong in taking second opinion from retinal experts.

Just to add there also very good vision rehabilitation modalities.
