Suggest Treatment For DVT Behind Left Knee

i was diagnosed with a DVT behind left knee this week, and stayed overnight in the hospital. The course of treatment was a stomach injection of Lovanox and then a dose of oral Xarelto - daily. after the second dose of Xarelto, I am experiencing upper back pain that radiates around to the side on my right side. The pain is just a dull pain and is worse when I lean back on a chair versus sitting up. Called the doctor and he has set a CT scan for three days from now. I am not currently having any trouble breathing nor am I coughing. Should I seek treatment elsewhere, or is this a common side effect of Xarelto?? Thank you.
