There are a few ways to test for H. Pylori A) H. Pylori antigen test - this is a simple blood test that checks to see if you have the H. Pylori antigen, however this test won't tell you if your H. Pylori is active or not. It will be positive even if you have been treated and the H. Pylori is gone.
B) Urease breath test - this is a more invasive test, but is a good way to tell if you have H. Pylori or not. This will only be positive if you have an active H. Pylori infection.
C) Direct gastric biopsy - the most invasive, this requires endoscopy by a gastroenterologist and requires removing a small piece of your stomach tissue in order to tell if you still have active H. Pylori. This is the most sensitive test, but also the most invasive.
I'd recommend seeing a gastroenterologist who specializes in treatment of H. Pylori.
I hope this is helpful. Feel free to contact me with any questions.
