Hi I am looking to find a doctor for my son who has been diagnosed with the HPV for men. He has had some warts or lesions on his penis. I would like to get a second opinion as to direction of treatment. He is a 25 year old and has benn sexually active since 17
Unfortunately, there is no specific treatment to eradicate HPV infection. Generally, treatment is directed towards the symptoms. If warts are what bother him, they can be removed by cryotherapy, they can be burned or some local cream can be applied locally to help them regress.
