Suggest Treatment For HSV

my partner and I both tested negative fr hsv 1 and 2 through a blood test last month. both of us developed symptoms two weeks ago, slightly different. I tested positive from a swab and his lesions were closed so once again tested negative in bloodwork. we re both now on valtrex and he gets tested again in february, I m figuring with the medicatin it will once again show negative in bloodwork. I feel like the bad guy...I m okay with the diagnosis if we both had it, no fingers pointed on my end however if it s possible he will perpetually test negative (meds, un reliable blood tests)...I look like the bad guy just because I got my swab at the right time. we may never breakout again which is fine if we were married, etc, but this is such an early time in a relationship for this to happen. my concern lies within the possibility he was continue testing negative if positive. The day after our first experience with unprotected sex with eachother I developed BV...then he had herpes symptoms...then days layer I did. ugh. please help.
