Suggest Treatment For IBS And GERD

I have suffered with IBS since I was a teenager. I am now 64 years of age. I also have GERDS and use Prevacid every day. I am having issues with severe vomiting from time to time that seems to be related to both of these medical conditions. How should I approach my new physician on a course of treatment that will address both issues? My sister suffers from both of these and is using generic Hyoscyamine .125. Would there be something safer and better?

Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern and let me tell you that the IBS is actually condition and not the disease and more or less this is functional condition, for the GERD, if I would be treating doctor of this case then I would treat this case with Tab Omeprazole 40 mg and Tab Domperidone 30 mg once in day at evening time for six weeks, some time I also add Tab Chlordiazepoxide three times in day, this tranquilizer helps a lot for little functional condition, take care.
