Suggest Treatment For LVH Causing Chest Discomfort And Heaviness
This is a great website. im 5-6 260 lbs and was having some chest discomfort for the past hour before bed. I ve been under a lot of stress and ate pretty heavy today. I had an echo last week because at my pcp ohysical, my doctor said I have LVH. Im not sweating or nauseous, just worried. Any throughts?

I have gone through your and being your physcian ii completely understand your health concerns.
for how long u are suffering from it? any other associated problem? like diabetes ?any famliy history of hypertension or heart problems?do u smoke? do u exercise? how many pillows you use at bed time? have u ever experienced chest pain?
In my opinion , you should visit the CARDIOLOGIST so that you can be investigated properly and treatment can be inititated timely.
You may have got SYSTEMIC HYPERTENSION which is giving you LVH. if i am your attending physcian i would do your complete workup starting from FBC , ESR lipid profile ECG UREA CREATININE and will follow these investigations atleast in a year time so that disease progression can be graduated.
meanwhile stay calm and continue with your medications you need to loose some wt. and consume regular nutritional foood . do exercise atleast four days a week but after consultation with your doctor. try to avoid salty food. make a chart of your BP readings too.
