General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and thanks for your question.
The vertigo of Meniere's disease is often treated with medications like mecliine and scopolamine. Diuretics are sometimes helpful. Immunosuppressive drugs like steroids or methotrexate are sometimes recommended. All of these drugs would need to be prescribed by the doctor or ENT that he is seeing. There are also some physical therapy exercises that can help with the vertigo if you can find a physical therapist that specializes in vertigo or balance issues.
