I have had Mononucleosis symptoms for about 2.5 months and 2 weeks ago it was confirmed by my doctor that I have Mono. In the middle of the night last night, my mouth filled with about a tablespoon of blood. Today I went to the emergency room where my blood was tested and the doctor told me that I was slightly anemic, which I have been told before in my life, but that there was nothing wrong with my gastrointestinal system or anything else for that matter. Could the blood be related to the mono? Should I be reaching out to other doctors to determine this?
