General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The hypothyroidism is best controlled with supplementation of thyroid hormone in form of Levothyroxine, synthetic form of thyroid hormone. The polycystic ovarian syndrome or disorder indicate presence of multiple ovarian cysts due to underlying hormone imbalance via endocrinopathy of some sort or Insulin resistance.

Guidelines for PCOD recovery:
- Oral contraceptive pills for menses regulation
- Metformin for Insulin resistance
- Clomiphene citrate for ovulation induction
- Control of obesity if BMI above 30

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
