Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) is known to be associated with infertility in women due to irregular menstruation and untimely ovulation. The chances of fertility improves when treated appropriately for regularising menstrual periods and timely induction of ovulation.
Generally, the condition is first evaluated by clinical examination and investigations. Then, accordingly, the condition is treated with birth control pills to regularize the periods and metformin and/or clomiphine to induce ovulation.
Regular follow-up is necessary and you need to have patience as it may take certain amount of time to improve your chances for conceiving.
Kindly consult Gynecologist for proper evaluation and management.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
