General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I would recommend you to do some blood tests to check the hormone levels. These would be:
- TSH for the thyroid function
- estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, LH, FSH
- prolactin

Checking these hormones will give some insight into the possible cause of the lack of the periods in your case and make sure is it only PCOS or other associated conditions.

I hope this answers your query. I remain at your disposal in case further medical assistance is needed.

Regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj
