I have PCOS and two weeks ago I had my period with one day of clotting. Yesterday I had some clots and today I'm in extreme pain on my left and right side about where my overies are, heavy bleeding with clots And to top it off i feel constipated is this from my PCOS or is it something else?
With extreme pain and heavy bleeding I would recommend visiting an ER. In ER they will give you some medicine to control your pain and bleeding they will also do an ultrasound scan to see if there is any other pathology.
For PCOS treatment you need regular exercise and weight reduction this will help in controlling your hormones. Pills can be used to regulate the menstrual cycle if you only wants regulation. If you wants pregnancy there are medicines available for it too.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
