There is no cure for Parkinson disease. However treatment can help to control your symptoms.

Medicines like Levodopa is the most commonly prescribed and most effective drug for controlling the symptoms of Parkinson disease.

Dopamine agonists like Requip, Mirapex, and Neupro can be taken after consulting your doctor. Anticholinergics are used to restore the balance between the two brain chemicals dopamine and acetylcholine.
