Suggest Treatment For Parkinsons Disease

I think i might have Parkinsons disease. Today in a sudden moment my left wrist felt weak and my fingers and hand starting shaking. 2 weeks earlier i had felt really dizzy after sitting down and felt like throughing up. Could this be a sign of parkinsons disease?

Hi,

Thank you for posting your query.

I have noted your symptoms. First of all, I would like to reassure you that your symptoms are not suggestive of Parkinson's disease (PD) and there is no need to worry.

In PD, there are tremors of hands and they persist. They do not come and go. In addition, there is slowness of movements and rigidity of arms/legs.

Also, it is important to note that PD usually does not affect people below the age of 40 years.

I hope my answer helps. Please get back if you have any follow up queries or if you require any additional information.

Wishing you good health,

Dr Sudhir Kumar MD (Internal Medicine), DM (Neurology)
