Respected Doctor, My wife s fingures become senseless and she have pain in these fingures of her hand & could not work by these fingures. She has consulted a Doctor who s view was that there is gap in the bones in the back and she requires continous traction. Kindly advise in the matter. Regards T.R.Bothra YYYY@YYYY M-91-0000
Senselessness or decreased sensations in the fingers can be due to nerve associated problems. Is there any history of trauma to the arm, hand or fingers? An injury to the arm and hand can cause injury, damage or compression to the nerve. You need to consult your orthoprdician for clinical assessment, investigations and thus management.
HI Thank for asking to HCM I really appreciate your concern for your wife and I would like to say that the numbness in finger of your wife could be due to the compression that might have affect the peripheral nerve but after the decompression this would come around and in my opinion better to see the orthopedic surgeon, take care and have a nice day.
