I have TB Spine and TB meningitis. Iam already on treatment. once I have finished treatment will I recover fully ? meaning, Will I be ABLE TO CARRY HEAVY THINGS AGAIN? I also have problem with spasms or seizures on the right hand limb and skull and I have been given medication for that but they have not yet stopped. is it because of the meningitis?

Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Tuberculosis is 100% curable disease.
But tuberculosis of spine is known to cause complications even after completion of treatment.
Complications like lumber canal stenosis, narrowing of intervertebral disc, weakening and thinning of disc etc. And for this, you need to get done surgical correction.
But first you need to complete the 8-9 months of treatment.
Make sure that your anti tubercular regimen contains streptomycin because it is best drug for spinal and meningeal tuberculosis.
So you need to wait for atleast 8-9 months fir recovery. And you may need surgery also to carry put normal activities.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
